Privacy
Termslut is pre-launch. This page describes how the product handles data today. It is not yet a reviewed legal document.
What you give us
The name of a company you type into the search box. There are no user accounts: you don't sign up, and we don't ask for your name or email address.
What we store
For each company someone looks up, we store the company's name, the public terms of service we downloaded, where we downloaded them from, and our explanation of them. This is public information about the company, kept permanently and shown to anyone who looks up the same company. We don't record who looked it up.
Your IP address
We count lookups per IP address to stop abuse. That count is kept only for the current hour-long window and is not linked to the companies you searched for. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also processes request details such as your IP address to deliver and protect the site.
Who else handles it
To find, download and explain a company's terms we use Ollama, which receives the company name you typed and the terms text we downloaded. The site runs on Cloudflare, and our database runs on a server we operate in the United States. Nothing is sold or used for advertising.
Cookies and tracking
Termslut doesn't use tracking cookies or analytics.
